A/Prof. Alam Yoosuff

A/Prof Alam Yoosuff is a highly experienced rural generalist with nearly 20 years of general practice experience and a strong commitment to holistic, patient-centred care. He has lived and worked in the region for more than 18 years and brings a deep understanding of the local community’s health needs.

He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame Australia. His areas of interest include holistic care, emergency medicine, aged care and palliative medicine.

A/Prof Yoosuff is actively involved in health leadership as a board director for both the Murrumbidgee Local Health District and the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network. He is passionate about connecting hospital and community care and advocating for stronger, more sustainable primary healthcare for rural communities.
